Technical Analyst Role
What is the job? Technical Analyst: Initially, a new hire for the Technical Analyst position will be expected to learn the structure of the database back-end, as well as learning and embracing our processes for delivering “customer first” support. We take pride in providing the absolute highest caliber helpdesk support, and anything less simply doesn’t fit with our company mission. Level-one helpdesk support would be this position’s main focus until a new hire is able to take on higher-level support tickets, and eventually work up to delivering WebEx training sessions and/or demonstrations, answering emergency support-line phone calls, building custom forms and reports in customer databases, and participate in completing additional client-commissioned custom development projects.
Where are we located? Our headquarters is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and we prefer that our staff are situated locally. However, we’re a global-minded technology company that embraces the geographic flexibility web-based services facilitate. As such, many of our employees work from home and attend staff meetings through remote software applications so there is an opportunity for excellent candidates to join the team in a remote capacity. All candidates will be required to have a high-speed internet connection in their home and provide their own desktop/laptop machines.
Who are we hiring? ONLY highly motivated, ambitious, dedicated employees with an innate drive to succeed need apply! We are looking for candidates with 2 or more years of experience providing helpdesk or other types of database support. Knowledge of database-structure and SQL query-writing are highly desirable. Most importantly, though, candidates need to be of the absolute highest levels of organization, attitude, and motivation. As an employee who will be working remotely, you will need to be able to fill your days on your own without any direct supervision. While this is an at-will, direct-hire position, and it is salaried with full benefits, the performance of our new hire(s) will be evaluated at the one, three, and six-month marks for permanent consideration. The specific salary and benefits package for this position will be commensurate with experience.
